Deer are a type of NPC that can be enabled to spawn when creating a new world. If they are killed by the player, they will drop raw meat raw meat, deer skin deer skin and deer antlers deer antlers. However killing one can be quite difficult without the use of a crossbow crossbow because if the player gets close to it, it will run away.
