Usage

The Anchor template is meant to be used to make a jump location. This is the same functionality that the table of contents uses with headings. Add an Anchor anywhere you want to jump to. Then make a link to the Anchor and you will be taken to it.

{{Anchor|<name>}}
  • The code above can be pasted into your page and edited.

Tutorial

For the example you can assume you are placing a tag named Example on a page called TestPage.

  1. Begin by placing the template where you want to jump to: {{Anchor|Example}}.
  2. Link to the anchor:
  • From the same page using [[#Example]]
  • From a different page using [[TestPage#Example]]
  • From outside of the wiki using the following URL http://www.medievalengineerswiki.com/index.php?title=TestPage#Example
